🌍 How does Finalis work?

  • We are a fully-remote company with Finalists distributed between the time zones of Eastern Standard Time and Eastern European Time .

  • If you’re located outside this time zone range, depending on the needs of your team, you may be requested to be available during specific hours.

  • Although we don’t have an official physical place to work, we promote gathering with your team or other colleagues whenever possible.

🤝 What about your team?

You will be part of the Finance Team and will work alongside different stakeholders from across the company.

✨ What will you be doing?

  • Help develop a “buy versus build” approach with applicable Finalis stakeholders

  • Be a leader of vendor management by working with Finalis teams to support vendor purchasing, strategic needs, analysis and procurement processes

  • Maintain a single source of vendor truth for Finalis

  • Evaluate Finalis team requirements for vendor products and services

  • Conduct research and Request for Proposal on available vendors to determine which offer best pricing and quality

  • Research, analyze and evaluate vendors and recommend new vendor purchases and existing vendor cancellations and extensions

  • Meet with suitable vendors to assess their products and services, negotiate pricing and communicate related concerns

  • Implement vendor selection programs to ensure best vendors are secured

  • Establish standards by which to assess vendors and their performance after approval

  • Managing relationships with Finalis vendors and serve as Finalis’ point of contact with vendors across Finalis teams

  • Liaise with Finalis teams to include finance, information security, legal and the project management office (PMO) to manage Finalis vendors, including vendor agreements

  • Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with Finalis policies, attending vendor meetings and informing vendors and key stakeholders of their responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of vendors and ensure adequate vendor performance of vendor contracts with Finalis and compliance with industry standards and service levels

  • Review and track vendor activity to ensure applicable deadlines are met

  • Evaluate Finalis management programs and identify ways to improve them

  • Perform quarterly review of vendors and provide feedback to Finalis management

  • Complete risk assessment of Finalis vendor and Finalis’ vendor management program

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Finalis management

  • Develop and implement processes and guidelines for vendor selection, onboarding, performance evaluation, and offboarding.

  • Monitor and manage costs associated with vendor services. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes in relation to vendor expenses.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving any disputes or issues that arise with vendors.

💬 Who are we looking for

  • You have exceptional written and spoken English

  • You have a minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience

  • You have Google Workspace experience

  • You have excellent communication skills

  • You have strong organizational skills

  • You can handle confidential information

  • You have the ability to work swiftly with a high sense of urgency and be comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines

  • You are a self-starter, quick learner and highly organized with attention to detail

  • You have the ability to follow up; know what's going on at all times and respond quickly

  • You are flexible, patient, persistent and have a team spirit attitude

  • Proven experience managing software vendors, cloud and on premises

  • Proven experience managing hardware vendors in the US and Latin America

  • Familiar with ISO 27001 and/or SOC2 vendor management practices

  • Program and project management, business delivery, business administration, or in a related area

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively and demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational and decision-making skills

  • Adept at negotiating vendor contracts with strong negotiation, management and decision-making skills

  • Self-motivated individual who has the ability to embrace the role and drive change

  • Comfortable interacting with multiple teams and leaders on a regular basis;

  • Proven analytical skills and strategic thinking

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of an organization in English (verbal and written)

  • High degree of comfort with business and technology language

  • Ownership mentality with a deep sense of accountability over results

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required
